Just getting started a crowd grows
Someone saw it first and a group had gathered around. It was a cicada (locust). He was climbing from his shell to take on a new form. He wasn’t as beautiful as a butterfly but every bit as interesting. We decided to name him Michael or Mike, because he looked like an angel as his wings unfolded.
It took a couple of hours, and I didn’t watch it all, but I did watch enough to be thoroughly impressed. Someone stood sentinal all the time to make sure anything special was noted for all.
At several occasions all movement slowed down to where we wondered if he had died. The process was not even but it was continuous.
Change is cool and transformation is wondrous. I make these observations. Although everyone didn’t see the same details at the same time everyone agreed there was change taking place. There was a natural fascination with seeing the change. We didn’t have to be told that change was taking place, we could see it. Ultimately, the change was useful in the end but not at every stage in-between.

Mike begins to spread his wings
I learned a lot about the kind of change God brings in our lives. We don’t need to promote and claim it so much if it is real, people will see it of their own. True change from God will be for a purpose. Although I am involved in the changing process it is powered by a sovereign God who knows best. Not everyone might agree on the level of change or the kind, but all in time can see it when it is genuine and real.

All systems GO!
I think I will argue less with others about how holy I am and focus on allowing God to change me, and let Him display the results. It may be my arguing with others about how much God has changed me is detrimental to the change that God has yet to make in me.
